A celebration of marionettes

Wednesday 23 October, 5.30 - 9.30pm (arrive anytime)
Rachel Warr and the Outreach committee invite you to help us celebrate marionettes.

Join us for an evening of displays, talks, demonstrations and short performances with marionettes. There will even be a chance to have a go at operating a marionette puppet.

We will be exploring topics such as:

• Carving techniques
• Tailoring costumes
• Recreating biological mechanics
• Trick marionettes
• Marionettes on film
• Marionettes through the ages from Victorian times to the present
• Opportunities to ‘have a go’.
