Rachel Warr is a puppetry director and dramaturg. Her work includes shadow, rod, string, glove, Bunraku-inspired and object puppetry. She creates performances using a variety of materials, music and text.  She particularly enjoys working with paper, threads, wood and light, but is always investigating the resonance of different materials and how they move.

She is a previous associate artist of Little Angel Theatre and currently a Research Fellow at the V&A Museum. Her work has been awarded a Royal Television Society Craft and Design Award and been short-listed for a Total Theatre award. Her work has been presented at venues across England and represented the UK at festivals in Prague, France and Singapore. She works both in a freelance capacity and as Artistic Director of Dotted Line Theatre.
