Originally a painter, Carolyn has made Artists’ Books for over 20 years – mostly using woodcuts – codex, concertina, and tunnel books and carousels. Recently she was inspired by Mexican cartoneras and paper toy theatres.
Her work appears in individual and institutional collections across the UK, Europe, and USA, including V&A National Art Library, British Library, Tate, USA University Library special collections and Library of Congress, and she shows regularly at the Oxford Fine Press Fair.
