Lara Maiklem

Lara Maiklem is an author, antiquarian and publishing consultant, known for her writing and speaking on mudlarking, antiquities and the River Thames. She has written two books: her first, Mudlarking: Lost and Found on the River Thames, was a Sunday Times Bestseller, Radio 4 Book of the Week and Winner of the 2020 Indie Book Award for Non Fiction and her second book A Field Guide to Larking: Beachcombing, Mudlarking, Fieldwalking and More was shortlisted for the London Archaeologist Book Prize. In 2022, she was elected a Fellow of the Society of Antiquaries of London.
