Matthew Eve

Dr Matthew Eve is a freelance academic, writer and illustrator. He has a longstanding interest and expertise in children’s literature and book illustration, has written numerous articles, lectured widely on the subject, and has curated a highly successful exhibition about classic illustrated children’s books for the British Library.

As an illustrator, he has provided artwork for book covers and poster campaigns for various publishers, including Random House and Palgrave-Macmillan and is always looking for exciting new commissions. He works in pen and ink and/or watercolour/gouache and is self-taught.
