Martin Bowers is an established maker and restorer of musical instruments of the  renaissance and baroque periods specialising in the instruments of the lute, guitar and violin families. His instruments are based on research sourced from museums and private collections and made using traditional materials and construction  methods. Commissioned by musicians and musical institutions for solo recitals, continuo playing, and radio / television recordings.
