The New Courtyard Project

Begun in 2015, The New Courtyard Project is now complete.

The facilities for disabled people on the ground floor are much improved. and the courtyard, now covered with a glass roof, has double the amount of usable space. Designed and crafted by the Guild’s own members, the glazed barrel vault roof is constructed using cast iron ribs and is complementary to the existing architecture, in that its aesthetics are craft-orientated and largely handmade.

Thanks to all who have so generously contributed, the Guild now has a beautiful space to exhibit members’ work.  It faces the future with the confidence to meet the needs of its members and others who benefit from its facilities.
